PARTIES ON THE BEACH
All private parties and events that take place on ANY COLONY PROPERTY must be booked in advance and may be subject to approval by the Colony Board. This includes all athletic complexes, playgrounds,1,3 or 4 Beach and Areas 2 and 5. Fill out application found lower on this page or stop by the Colony office to get an application .
There is a $25 user fee, $2/nonmember guest and $15/hour for lifeguard fee.
This has been developed to make using Colony property fair and convenient for Members in Good Standing.
“Permits” will be issued to insure that your space and time is reserved! There has been a dramatic increase in the use of the beaches for parties and events, increased complaints, numerous concerns by members and confusion of who has reserved what space, when it is still available for use. The Colony Board is taking these steps not to limit access but in an effort to make Colony property fairly and equally accessible. We would also like to be good neighbors and be considerate of the residents/members surrounding Colony property.
Outdoor Colony property is available, convenient to book by visiting the Colony office and use is a great benefit of membership for all members in good standing. If you do not have the proper permit you will be asked to leave and must do so. The Lifeguards, Tag checkers and MLPD will have the list of scheduled parties /events.
